    LGS redemption: Rinkor Arms

I had a bad bit of customer service at this shop, figured I was SOL and no point in going back. But I sent a pissed off email to shop email anyways. You can search for my original post here

Went back today and I have to say I have never seen this level of customer service. Anywhere. As a gun shop, they set a new standard. Hell, as a retailer they set a new standard. I had the owner respond to me and then the manager. And then talking to the manager today was awesome. To finally chat with a guy who knows his chit. And that was the shop manager. Not even the owner.

Seriously, if you are in Santa Rosa you should drop by. They don't have everything but they have quite a bit. And when you factor in shipping they are right there.

Were the jerks who said they were keeping the powder for themselves still employed there?

I heard a similar story of redemption about those guys recently. It sounds like the owner does make an effort to set things right.

Now if he could just fix the abnormally high prices.

Abnormally high prices? I just bought a brand new Glock with 2 magazines there two weeks ago that was $405 out the door. Their prices are completely in line with any other brick and mortar store, and their receptive attitude is VERY refreshing to have. I've said a few bad things about them before, and they've always immediately fixed the issue. I'm a fan.

Sure about that price? They had a Glock sale over Black Friday, $100 off, all Glocks in stock except for a couple of models, for $495. Regular prices were $595.

Personally, I'm very happy with Rinkor Arms. Their prices are in line with everyone else on the 101 corridor. They had good customer service, they have a gold/silver/coin shop and a lock/key shop in the back, so it's like one stop shopping for me.

Let's keep encouraging them to keep up the level of customer service and maybe, just maybe, it will bleed over the other shops.

Now we just need an indoor shooting range in Sonoma County again so we don't have to drive down to San Rafael.
