My range day.

So I took the Mrs. to the range on Sunday for some "quality time" and I'm pretty chuffed with the results. First up was my Shield and SP2022 on the 7.5 yard range



The Shield results on top, and Sig on bottom.

Next it was the heavy artillery. P220 two handed on top and one handed (left AND right) on bottom.

Shooting with the wife is always fun I remember when I was married my wife used to love to go shooting, I really miss those days, nice shooting op

one fun thing couples can practice together is proper mag changes, this not only saves on ammo, it gives good practice dropping mags, releasing slide and of course inserting the new mag .
i like to load mags with between 1 and 3 cartridges. so while your partner is shooting your filling mags .
for a rt handed shooter mags in belt,pocket , pouch etc should be situated with bullets forward.

of course you or wife will not have a holster or mag pouches at the range . i just load mags and either put in forward pocket or waist band .
the you tube video gives a good example of changing the mag.

at the range speed is not a consideration, 1st safety and 2 nd getting familiar with the proper procedure .
