    question about body armor

    what is the situation with soft armor like bullet proof vest and stab proof vest in california?? would u require a permit or something to own 1?

    im aware that level 3 b.a isnt avilable to the public

    There are no laws regulating ownership of body armor.


    The only law I am aware of involves wearing body armor in the commission of a crime, in which case the severity of the crime is elevated.

      I believe it is also a restricted item for felons and people on parole, but I may be mistaking it for something else.

      It's an additional FELONY if you are wearing body armor in the commission of a crime.
