The Armageddon Gear Revolution Trigger is interesting.

Has anyone tried this Armageddon Gear Revolution Trigger. It's a round trigger that rolls. The trigger revolves freely to alleviate any left or right movement that would otherwise be transferred to the gun.

I see JP Ent is offering it too.

Just tried it, love it! The trigger reset is next to nothing, feels like a 3.5 lb pull, I'd love to have one. It was at Guns Direct in one of their AR Pistols off the shelf.

It looks cool, I wanna try it.

How does one keep their finger from just spinning right off it during rapid fire though? Or is this really meant for precision rifles?

Sounds like a good idea but
I have a sort of concern in this as well. Will a shooter feel his finger rolling and clench down and fire the gun unintentionally? Sort of like thinking your grip is slipping and grabbing harder.
I'd like to try one out before I blow $240

What do you think of the electronic AR trigger, with backup mechanical trigger?

I think electronics should stay off essential aspects of the rifle.

Dislike. I've spent a lot of time developing muscle memory for trigger pull and reset, and don't need/want a widget to compensate.

If I remember correctly, this was tried before in the 80s and ATF decided it was too easy to mod to be full auto.

I can't find any documentation right now as I'm on my phone.

                    I like this.
Therefore I won't be able to get one.
And our golden rule applies, "If it's fun, then it's not legal in California."
                    Great idea for precision shooting.
Not for defense use. Would be as bad as having a 1 lb. trigger.
I would want to have a 2 factor mechanical switch to engage the electronic mode. Like having to push the selector switch in - under spring tension - to rotate into electronic mode.
My first thought after seeing the display panel on the hand grip was, "the BATFE won't like this."
Like unusedusername stated above, it would be too easy to modify.
If it does somehow make its way legally onto shelves in CA AND it would only be $200, I would buy it.
I can't see it costing less than $600+ though.
The trigger assembly could be self contained but the special hand grip with the guts and panel would require some drilling in the fire control pocket.
Solenoid plus mechanical trigger seems like a lot to stuff into such a tight spot.
If the solenoid could not be cycled until a capacitor charged up then that would prevent automatic/burst fire.

Here is a similar - but not answering the question - thread on this: ATF letter finding of the Ruger 10/22 trigger that fires once on rear travel and once on full release.

Olympic .22 LR pistols have had electronic triggers for some time. Pardini, Hammerli, Benelli, etc.
