    San Francisco Gun Buy Back

Walked out the door yesterday to walk my dog and found this on the sidewalk. I live in Pac Heights area of SF and I assume someone was putting these on cars or whatever.

What a waste of time and effort. Really love the three bulleted facts they use. Yep, makes sense to me that most accidental deaths from firearms happen in a house. Where would they think they would happen? Also, would not turning in illegal "assault weapons" rate more than a $200 reward, maybe a felony arrest?

    Idiots them all.

(Apologize for large image size, but wanted everyone to be able to read the fine print at the bottom)

Nothing about San Francisco would surprise me in the least. I refuse to even set foot there.

Come for a visit. Only about 1/4 of the people are idiots. Unfortunately, they are the swing voters that keep electing our local politicians.

Curious if there is a place to buy parade rifles? Maybe if cheap enough ....

It puzzle me how a city can do gun buyback without breaking Federal laws, are they FFL dealer or a city is exempt from Federal laws

So they're only paying for "Handguns" and "Assault Weapons"? No shotguns or rifles?

I wonder who is sponsoring this buy back. Usually the police are mentioned, but not on this event. If the police are not involved, wouldn't this be illegal? That is if there is not an FFL on site. These people would be buying firearms without following Federal or State laws. I would love to see arrests and charges. I am hoping these are private citizens thinking they can take in guns and turn them over to police, without the police there.

Yes! You can probably find some collectors items, too.

two things I find VERY interesting...

these same posters almost always had the quote
                          "no questions asked."
in the past....now that quote is gone.

                          AND

no payouts for rifles or shotguns???
                          as Flintlock Tom mentioned
                          above.

( also I am loving all the quotes from my "Hecho in Belgium Glock and Wesson" thread. thanks folks.)
                          :-)

At the bottom of the flyer it says thank you sponsors and supporters. SFPD is listed.
                            Sorry, not sorry.

Just looked at the 'United Playaz' facebook page. They might want to focus on the English language and not guns.

At least 2 Marijuna dispensaries are sponsoring too. Nice
