I worded this question poorly before and the thread was quickly closed. I am going to try again. My gun has a 14 round mag that has been blocked to 10 rounds. It only came with one mag and I wanted to see about getting another. Is there a way to get another mag? Does it need to be blocked outside of California and then brought in? Can just a magazine be sent to ffl with a high cap permit, blocked and then sold to me? Or, am I stuck with just one mag?

Mag blocking outside California?

What kind of magazine is it for?
It is legal to buy/import a permanently modified 10 round magazine.
Unless you are an exempt person (FFL dealer with a large capacity magazine permit, LEO, etc), the magazine needs to be modified prior to entering CA.sigpic
