If the so called 'Assault' weapon ban was lifted in California, would you covert your featureless rifles to their traditional configuration?

'Assault' Weapon repeal

I am not expecting it to happen in my life time.
I hate the ban but honestly don't mind some of my featureless rifles. If I would to move to a free state, I can't say with any certainty that I would convert them to a more traditional configuration.
I would definitely remove neutering devices on featured weapons.Signature requiredComment

I don't use the grip wraps.
The Thordsen FRS-15 is actually a nice stock. With a little battle comp and an ACOG.... not a bad combination. Not one that I would be in a hurry to ditch, even if I legally could.Signature requiredComment

Eh, you know, I just voted yes, but I do also like the one FRS-15 I have. I would likely transfer it to a gun that would only be used for bench/hunting off of a bag or 'pod. Other than that, yeah, I would remove and melt any bullet button in my possession.Originally posted by kcbrownI'm most famous for my positive mental attitude.

They'd be converted back before the ink had time to dry on the governor's signature.sigpic

I voted no because my only featureless guns are my Saiga-M's which are gorgeous and I like them just the way they are. I already own non-compliant Aks and an AR but I left them with in laws in Texas because I expect to move back in 2 years or less.
I recently found a Romanian PAR-1 (pump action AK!). I am not gonna convert that to a 'more effective' weapon either because I like the novelty of it as it currently is.
Now, if I had been a CA resident for the last 10 years and all my guns were already neutered, it would be a different story. But luckily I wasn't
