    50 BMG Raufoss

So I was browsing online looking at random stuff when I ran into this

I have some MK211 Raufoss 50 BMG ammo for sale. The real stuff. I'm buying a piece of Realestate and have decided to let some of this out of my personal collection. It's legit and I will guarantee it w a 7 day 100% money back guarantee. I purchased it through a very legitimate source and I...

Guy claims he got them from legit channels. Was this ever avail to the civilian market? At $60 a pop that's a lot of $! He's already sold a few as well.

uhh... I totally want. However, I doubt that is legal in CA. I may be though and would be happy to be wrong.

They aren't. And yes, $60 a pop is pretty expensive, although there are other cartridges that can cost a bit as well. For example, here's an auction that sold for $571, for 6 gyrojet rockets. That's $95 a shot for a cartridge that you could probably stop by holding your finger in front of the muzzle. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=442898983

We had them in Afghanistan, along with a handful of SLAP rounds, never did get to shoot any of them though, missed out on playing with the Carl Gustov as well sadly.

You didn't miss anything by not shooting the CG if it is at all like the M67.

Illegal here because there's crap in the bullet which burns.

I do have a SLAP round on my desk to look at, but i can never fire it out of my single shot (SLAP + muzzle brake = catastrophe).
