Interesting but I don't think I want such a light trigger except if I was doing competitions....

1.4lbs?? That's too light for most competitions even.

At that weight even a small finger twitch during followthrough will cause the gun to appear to double. Be very careful with that one.

1.4 pounds on a pistol trigger? No thanks. That's just begging for a double. There is more to a nice trigger than simply being light, even for a 1911.

I'm all about light triggers but my raptor on my limber is just right. Any less and no thanks but I also carry that gun at times.

By replacing the trigger it prevents the pistol from being used in IDPA SSP and USPSA Production divisions. We are getting 1 lbs, 6 oz trigger pulls out of the M&P while shorting the trigger pull by just modifying the stock trigger bar internally keeping them legal for competition. This might be interesting if you were going to try and use the M&P for limited or open divisions. What is the cost?

Are there options here? Can this trigger be setup to pull in the 4 lb range? Or is this strictly a competition trigger?
