    FFL Shipping

I apologize up front as I'm sure someone will tell me I'm posting in the wrong forum, but let's give it a shot.

I found a shotgun in Southern CA that I cannot find in Northern CA. The present owner would like to ship to a FFL from his home and he's a non-FFL (private owner). I am striking out trying to find an FFL that will accept a UPS firearm shipment from a non-FFL. If anyone can let me know if they are aware of an FFL that would accept a firearm in this manner, please let me know. Also, the fees I've been quoted range from $90-$140 FFL to FFL. Is that the going rate?

    Thanks again........

There are a bunch of FFL's in northern CA that will accept it. However, their prices vary. Where is nor cal are you - city?

I believe the website is FFL Finder that locates FFL dealers. It will tell you if they accept transfers and their cost for doing so. Also, if you list what city you are in, other calgunners can let you know who they've used in the past.

Shoot me a PM with your phone number and zipcode
I will search the Gunbroker site for FFLs in your zip code and give you their names and numbers. All of them are registered to receive shipped guns.
The guy I use here charges $25 to receive it plus the state fee of dros/$25

Folks I am not offering a service here.Just trying to help this calgunner that reached out.

                  shouldn't be more than $25.
