    Ammo Dump

Anyone ever buy ammo from these guys at the fun shows? Is it decent plinking ammo or should I worry about it blowin my gun up?
Lord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

Yes. Well, sort of. My GF buys here .40 S&W ammo from him. Says it's more consistent than Miwall's. The guy who runs the local pistol matches also gets his ammo from him and is satisfied.

The guy who owns the ammo dump is John something. A real nice guy. He's located in Sacramento.

Sounds good. I picked up 250 rounds of 223 for like 25-30 bucks a while ago. I can't remember exactly what I paid but I know it was cheap. I heard from someone that another fun show was coming up and was thinking of picking up some more of this stuff because it was so cheap.

I've seen them at the Vallejo gun show and San Jose gun show...but then again, it's the same show at a different place isn't it?

You have to call if you want ammo from Ammo Dump. He does not have a web site. He did tell me that you can do pick ups from his place in Sac. I did get some .223 from the last Vallejo show. This was the first time I ever bought from him. So far every round went bang. I think I will continue to buy from him. Ammo Dump - 916-966-5558. The owners name is John.

Found it in some old pistol match results.

Ammo Dump has been selling ammo and accessories at gunshows since the mid 1980's

I tried some of his ammo before and it was reliable

I've used John's 30/06 reloads in my Garand and they worked fine. He loads '06 with the proper powder for garands.
