Well, maybe not completely blind but how about shooting a pistol without glasses that would bring the front sight in focus. Plain safety glasses of course, but not prescription glasses.
Here is my question. God forbid that I would ever have to use a gun to defend myself but if that does happen I can't tell someone "Wait, got to put on my glasses".
I normally have to wear 1.50 Magnification reading glasses to bring the front sight sharp into focus. When I don't wear the glasses the front sight is blurry but the target at 25 yards is sharp in focus.
I have learned to concentrate on the front sight even though it is blurry. I found that aiming a bit high gets me into the black most of the time at 25 yards. Anyone have any other suggestions? I shoot Sig P220, a Kimber and a Les Baer. The "450270" is my code for the reload parameters. See attached. Actually I am getting much better but I am hoping to get some advice on how to keep things inside the 8 ring or better.
