Need a good FFL in Ventura

Anyone have a recommendation for a good FFL in Ventura who understands California's byzantine transfer laws?

Your best bet is kemasa in Simi Valley. PM him or go to his website http://net-ffl.com/ffl.html

I've decided I'm going to start using him because half the time I have a legal question, he's the guy who answers it.

Edit: I should probably note that I haven't actually done a transfer with him yet. But if you're looking for someone who knows all the laws, he's your guy.

I have done some unusual transfers at Uncle Paul's Exchange and WD's, but they are both closed. Island View is doing SSE, so they may be capable of dealing with your issue. Otherwise, my first choice for working within California's BS laws would be Michael and Michelle at EBR Works in TO. It is probably worth the drive if they can squeeze you in between the SSE frenzy.

Depends on what your needs are - what are you trying to accomplish?

EBR Works charges an arm and a leg. I have heard good things about them, but can't imagine paying $150 for a transfer.

Fort Courage Armory seems to understand the law and their dealer fee is $60.

Are you looking county wide or specifically ventura city?
