Anybody Remember Kodiak Gun Shop In San Leandro?

While visiting my Grandpa recently, I was cleanig his rifles, (since he hasn't done so since dirt was invented) and I noticed on his Savage 22 Auto loader there was a sticker on the stock that said Kodiak Gun Shop San Leandro. Whoa! When did that shop close? I'm guessing the rifle is almost 30 years old or over. So it's way before my time.

The shop use to be on the corner of E14th St. and Dutton for the longest time.. Then it moved to that small shopping center E14th St. and 143rd Ave. I remember going in there about 1978... I believe he closed up in 1980.
