AR pistol 300blk at 550 yards

I finally got the chance to take my 300blk out this year after getting the scope I wanted on it. I been lazy and had a old SKS scope on it last year for hunting. This year I put the p223 Nikon scope on it.

I went out to develop loads for the stupid lead ban with Barnes bullets and decided to see if I can hit a 9" place out at 550 yards. I guess it did pretty well for a pistol. Over all, Im pretty happy with this build.

PS: Ignore the MBUS on the side, I didn't want to loose it so I mounted it on there.

Well, here's a short video. hope you guys enjoy.

      Nice shot!

How consistent is that out to 500 yards? I was thinking of building a 300blk pistol for 25 to 600 plinking. But wasn't sure how successful that would be. Looks like you gave me some confidence in it.

Can anyone post the ballistic difference of a 300blk vs 5.56 (heavier grain bullet 62 - 75gr zone) of a 10.5 barrel out to 600 yards?

Pretty cool shot. That was the first shot after adjustment? Outstanding!

I not good enough to do that with a bolt gun much less an auto... and a auto pistol to boot.

Yes it was, I wanted to see if the tracking on the P223 was on spot or not. After shooting that and rezero'n the turret, I shot 100 yards to see if it was zero and it was. My Vortex I brought out didnt track though so Im pretty bummed.
