I was at Bass Pro Shops today...

Drove up to Rancho Cucomunga to visit my favorite store today. I was waiting at the gun counter for literally 30 minutes before someone helped me. but that's besides the point.

In one of the display cases they had a pretty sick Nemo Arms .300 Win Mag AR Rifle. It was like $6,000 with the optic. Anyway these two suits are standing behind me, (I'm leaning on the counter) and I hear the one say to the other,

"Jesus Christ look at that thing!"
The other one chuckled and said, "6 grand huh?"

The first guy then says, loud enough for everyone to hear,
"Yeah, THAT thing isn't for hunting. THAT'S FOR KILLING PEOPLE!"

Then they waddled off...probably to a Re-elect Kamala Harris rally....

(pause for effect)



1. First of all, that's like saying all knives are for eating steak only.
2. Who does that??? It was just such an ignorant thing to say, loud for all to hear.

I do agree an AR is not worth six grand, But that is a whole different topic. Besides if someone will buy it then ok. Just not me.

Yup, 99% of the people in there are looky-loo's who don't even shoot/hunt and are just there to waste the gun counter employee's time. No real hunter would say such a thing as that does nothing positive for gun rights. At least we don't have to take a number to get reloading components they have locked away back there.

I don't go there anymore. It's impossible to get any help at the gun counter. Last time in I waited almost thirty minutes before ordering the Magpul 870 furniture off Amazon. I saved over $20 too. Their ammo selection is always sad, and they stopped allowing dogs in the store(San Berdoo County policy)
