You dont have to have a 'first gun' because in America you can buy as many guns as you want in one day. I bought 4 handguns (M92 paps) in one day at one LGS, once back in TX. My FFL warned me that the local sheriff might call me just to 'check in on someone buying so many compact AKs at once, and that the ATF might too but usually the ATF was too busy for that kinda thing'. I waited 2 weeks for a phone call from the sheriff and never heard a word. Guess they didn't care.

Look around and see what appeals to you. I was at a gun show in AZ yesterday, and a guy had a pristine HK-91A2 for sale for $1950.00. My budget right now is going for a couple more handguns in CA before the end of the year, but that rifle was mighty tempting at that price.

I just moved to Virginia from California. As soon as I free up enough money, I'm getting an Auto Ordnance/Kahr Thompson 1927A1 Deluxe:

Then will be to remove the BB and but mag releases as I dont have any. After that I need to buy reloading gear if Im going to buy a 50. That can be a whole lot of money on ammo, lol

Oh and a suppressor for the coyotes. The home builder said they are all over and to shoot them out of the back yard get a 10/22 with a suppressor, thats what he does. Cant wait to coyote hunt!

Yea, if you don't have an AK yet, you might as well jump on a cheap one or two asap.

When it comes to 50s, do your research. JOIN THE FCSA prior to getting your first 50, read a few VHPs and get on our members only forum. Both will help you figure out what is right for you. If you're serious about getting into 50s, shoot me a PM and I can direct you to a few friends of mine in or around Reno who will help you on your 50 journey. When it comes to reloading the big 50, everything is different. You will need a bigger press and bigger equipment than normal.

There are so many wonderful things that we can't have here... where to start?!?!

Honestly I'd probably go collectibles and pick up some nice C&R's. I know that's something we can get here, but I'm tired of the pita cali hassle.

Otherwise the poster above has the right idea, a Sig MPX or a nice .300blk pistol with brace would be awesome!

Two Ruger 22/45's and suppressors to match, also a heavy barreled 10-22 with a threaded barrel for the suppressors.

NPAP underfolder from atlantic to celebrate folding stock, no mag lock, cheap to feed and a fun gun. I think they're running $589 at Atlantic right now, and its still nice to support a company that supports those of us "behind the wall".

You know that's not an AK, right? Get that and an AK.

I'm sure this has been covered, but you cannot legally shoot in Washoe County in a congested area which, your backyard would be.

Besides the obvious SBR and suppressor, it depends on what you like. I like older revolvers which I can't get since they aren't on the roster. I'd get a Colt Trooper MKIII in 22 LR and a S&W Model 27.

The other thing that you can get at the moment is unregistered guns. That may become a thing of the past as Bloomberg has a mandatory background check initiative in the works.
