    November only has 30 days

Ugh. I'm an idiot. I had my SSE's lined up. DROS'd September 30th and October 31st.

And then my plan was to DROS on November 31st, and then finally just barely make it for one more on December 31st.

What was I thinking?!! November only has 30 days. So it's a good thing I didn't put any money down for my planned December 31st, DROS.

Sigh...I guess I won't own an AR pistol after all.

Thanks for the heads up. Here's some more news we can all use: The time reverts back to standard time at 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 2nd. Don't forget to set your clocks back an hour before you go to bed tonight.

Ummm...it appears you've failed math twice.

      Oct. 31st - Dec. 1st - Dec. 31st

      What's the problem?

BTW...it's pretty widely known that AR-pistols will be available in 2015 via SSE2, so don't get too down in the dumps.

I don't see a problem here. I DROSed a SSE yesterday (Oct 31st). By my math I can do another DROS on November 30 and still another on Dec 30. Am I wrong?

You are not wrong. You have one "bonus" day available should you need it.

Most shops I have seen won't do one after Dec 21st, too close to the deadline. (SSE)
Have you talked to your ffl?

Doh!!! I am treating the one in 30 days, like the 10 day waiting period where many stores add that 11th day for insurance purposes. You are right.

most SSE-ffls say you have to pick up the gun by 12/31.

True most do. But a few are saying to DROS on 12/31.

I believe this works differently than a pistol falling off roster. From my understanding, the pistol has to be delivered by 12/31/2014.
