fedex package swiped, who eats it?

Ordered a scope and some reloading gear from Natchez, unfortunately Natchez defaulted to my old address. Although I changed my billing address on my credit card, I neglected to change the Natchez acct. So, long story short, new owners of my old house say "nope we didnt see any packages" but Fedex says "left on porch 10-22 2:4pm".

Am I SOL?

Ask FedEx to trace the package. Make sure they know it's missing. Also check to see if vendor regularly insures their deliveries.

Mistakes happen. I can't believe they haven't run into this before and want to work with customers in return for their loyalty...
