Maybe they should have an adopt a gun program, I'd gladly pay an adoption fee of 35 dollars

I'm hoping that changes soon, 'cause I'd like to pick up a 69 and a 929.

Which Hillary are you talking about?
Oh, you mean Hillary Clinton? Who's husband Bill passed the shameful Federal Assault Weapon Ban which lasted 10 years and which she decried when Bush the Young and the GOP Congress let it expire?
Nah, nothing to worry about Hillary. NRA is just scaremongering.
NRA is just the lobbying group of the evil gun corporations, Faux News and the Koch bros.
How did I do, CAguy? I used all DemocratUnderground talking points, did I do well?

The add on cost come from pipeline manufacture-wholesaler-dealer markups.

I get that these are legitimate costs but that still dose not negate the actual manufacturing costs.
                This is called CAPITALISM.
If you don't like how capitalism works you have two solutions:
                1. stop buying guns or,
                2. move to a communist country where there is no such thing as capitalism - but the mere possession of a gun will provide you with a life sentence in a gulag.

                  I'd be all over a 19 in something other than 357 - it'd be a real collector piece. Wouldn't mind a 29 for $300. My last one a 29-2 cost me $400 used.

Not for an avowed San Freakcisco socialist, there isn't. The people's exploitation perpetrated by greedy capitalist gun makers must cease! They get fat from workers sweat. Down with Gaston Glock! Punish both, Smith and Wesson. Ruger sounds German, he must be a Nazi!

maybe makers like Ruger will reconsider Rostering some pistols for the HUGE and hungry CA market.

With ongoing improvements in CAD/CAM I could see a startup cloning CZ or Ruger, etc designs and tweeking them to pass the Roster.
Am I a good shot!?!, YEAH I'M A GOOD SHOT!....i just got bad aim

Ruger can't get their newer pistols added to the roster, since they don't have microstamping. It's not like manufacturers wouldn't want to rake in the cash from sales in CA, it's that they can't.

CZ clones already exist, and they can't be added to the roster for the same reason that a Ruger pistol can't be added. There is no "tweaking" that will make them pass the requirements to be added to the roster.
