    Went shooting today...

So I went shooting today with a few friends and my friend's dad and while I don't have photos to post since they are being uploaded as I type this and I have somewhere to go at the moment, I would like to point out a few of the highlights of today.

-Shot the Makarov and hit a 2.5'x1.5' piece of steel at 75yds.
-Shot the MKII and accomplished the same thing.

Now, it may not seem like that is a big deal, but I am a crappy pistol shot and I am working on getting better! The Tracker is still a struggle at beyond 15yds for me but I really really need to find a load it likes and practice with specials.

Anyways, it was an enlightening day. I will be sure to post photos later!

I got problem with my 5 " SW 627 too. But I am OK now, shoot with sandbags first, after hit 3 " group at 25 yds, shoot with elbow on bench, after hit 3" groups at 25 yds, shoot off hand.
      Do it yourself.

Picture of the back of the Jeep. We had some cramped space in that sucker! We packed three .22 and one .44 mag rifle, as well as a Makarov, Tracker, MKII and 92FS.

You seem to make it out shooting a lot, I wish I could. Seems like you are always bring new people out too. I am glad that you are spreading the joys of firearms if a fun and safe way.
sigpicIf you loan someone twenty dollars and never see them again, it was probably worth it.

Panorama of the shooting area. Not a full 360, more like a 270 or so

As of late that has been the tendency. When school starts up again I will probably have very little time. Fortunately for me, UCSD has an archery range so maybe I can take my bow with me and stuff....

It is a fairly small rifle. It is about 34" long or so. I am no big guy either, being 5'8 and 175lbs.

One day I will have the 24" octagonal barrel version, just for those long and gratifying shots

Where is that you are shooting at?
