    The "other" anti's

I'm talking about the members of the RKBA community who are anti-California. I want to list all the companies &
manufacturers who refuse business with CA, even when the product is CA legal (Saigas, for example. First on this list is:

Centerfire Systems. Not 100% anti-CA, but close enough.

These companies don't want our money now, let's not give it to them when these laws are gone.

90% of the auctions on Gun Broker, but its mostly because the FFL doesnt want the extra paperwork CA requires.

The latest CA "trick" is that out of state dealers have to get permission to send guns to CA dealers. Offical paper has to be in the box or the FFL dealer is suppose to send it back. That even goes for in state shipping between FFL's. Any FFL that wants to ever ship guns has to get on the California list of dealers and apply for a permit (??) of some kind to ship the gun. It is just another road block to make guns harder to get. At least it can be done on line, so I'm told.

Change the CA rules from the inside. The out side CA folks can not do it. I do not think they are anti CA… CA is anti them?

I talked with an out-of-state FFL yesterday that supplies custom gun stocks, too.
He said he has refused sales of gunstocks and other non-serial # items to CA. He said he got an application in the mail from CA DOJ but just didn't want to deal with it. He thought it applied to all items.
I pointed out that the CA law only affects FFL items. I told him how to register for the CA DOJ FFL program and it is not that hard, transactions can be done on-line.
So he will now ship non-FFL items to CA and is going to go ahead and send in his application for FFL items in the future. I will check back with him soon and see if he follows through.
All you guys who called him and wanted to buy Ruger 10/22 Charger stocks can call him back now...in stock and ready to ship.

            CDNN

Piss on them. They refused to sell me a single action Beretta. I was told it was to punish my state for making things difficult for them to do business. Played right into it. Didn't they.

Go ahead and attack firearms supporting companies - but I think your efforts are misguided.

You're confusing "anti-California" with "business-decision-that-will-raise-our-costs". Costs which mainly consist of legal fees, which are normally very high costs.

You'll see below my user name that I spend time in both states...even visiting CA, let alone shipping something gun-related to CA, I spend a LOT of time making sure the guns I bring are CA-compliant.

There's a pretty good machine shop in Bonners Ferry, ID that makes sweet AR lowers. They are NOT anti-CA...they don't feel the delta in costs to comply with doj/bof's shipping requirements give them an adequate profit. That's their business decision. They definitely would love to ship to CA, but why should they when they drop their profit to do so??

You can find, if you look, more than a few out-of-CA ffl's who will receive guns and parts that the oem normally won't ship direct to CA. Meaning, you can get what you want if you want to look.

If you want to roll over to the CA laws, go ahead. Again, doj/bof's gotcha' where they want ya'

If you want to blame people then put the blame where it belongs. That blame is the Kali lawmakers, CA DOJ etc. Would you sell a item which may get you involved in a lawsuit? How many "not Kali approved" items do you own that are illegal to buy now, But was legal when you bought it and some lawmaker changed the laws. If BG in Kali uses a gun with a aftermarket stock could the stock maker be involved in a lawsuit? Could be, With the courts we have in Kali it's not impossible to list the company that sold it in the suit. If I'm wrong then because I'm seeing it like some of the companies do, Lack of info and trust in the Kali politicians. I'm sure there are some who wash thier hands with Kali, They think we did it to ourselves.

+1. It's not going to help, it'll probably only make people even angrier at us.

                            ...What did CDNN "play into"??

No surprise that they took my CA-addressed cc & shipped 2 PBR rifles to a non-CA ffl who shipped them directly to a CA ffl.

Hope you got a good price on the Beretta in CA

Why don't we list out-of-state FFL's and companies who will go above and beyond to serve CA clients (after all CA is, what, the 7th largest economy in the world, and probably a substantial firearm market in the US.)

In any other business, if I walk in w/ my money and was refused service bec. of my profile, then I'll take my money else where and let everyone I know not to shop there.
