    Magpul 1911 grips

Anyone try these? What's the consensus. I have some chewed up grips on an old Colt Govt 1911 that I was looking to replace.

I just can't see myself ever putting magpul stuff on any of my 1911's. Leave that stuff for the ARs

As much as I hate to say it, they are some of the most comfortable grips I've ever used. They're slim, not rubbery and they don't scream Magpul like some of their stuff does. If you can't afford G10's but want some that function the same way, get them.

Did they change their 1911 grips? Last I saw the grip pattern was literally hundreds of magpul logos.

It is but unless you are deliberately studying it, they aren't noticeable. I didn't realize it until I was cleaning one day.

They really do look similar to Hogue grips.

Update- I bought some, returned them immediately after finding some nice Colt ones on eBay for less.

The Magpul 1911 grips are a good product. I am very pleased with mine.

I came across these on Amazon. All kinds of cool looks and colors and cheap.
Hopefully have a set by year end

I love the Magpul grips. For $20 you can't beat the quality, and I like that they're thin and have a cutout to make it easier to reach the mag release.

They are around. TONS of people use and liked them.

Just not "the new hip product" so it doesn't get talked about anymore. You should have been here when they first came out. There was as many "magpul grips are awesome!" threads as there are "What SSE should I get today?" threads now.

Cheap, comfortable, and they work. What's not to like.
