All 3 safes offer the same protection give or take a few min.
And if your safe is bolted down those pry attacks become much more difficult. This is why the burglary replacement part of the warranty is only valid if your safe is bolted down.

My 24 gun that is much thicker and has much better protection than those safes in the video, I've seen a video where guys get into it with a hack saw in 10 min.

All safes are only debutants and slow down systems to hopefully buy the cops time. They aren't made to keep people out for ever. You pay for a longer clock that's all.
^ This. It slows them down long enough for alarm company to call police.

Yea that is true. I was just putting out there that liberty video was a bit biased and obviously shown to sell more safes for liberty.

My cousins bf (ex gang banger) use to say when they hit houses they use to just sawzall the corner and reach in and take what ever they could. He told me it would probably take him 20 to 45 min to get into my safe and be able to reach in and grab a few things. He also have me a few tips on how to prevent some things they use to do. If there was a safe, he said 90% of the time if they found guns they were just in closets or under beds.

It can be crazy what some people did in a past life, luckily he's done with all that since the birth of his first kid.

            Yeah, this.

I also want to know more about how he broke into them, so that I can more effectively plan around such a thing.

Well for one he told me to keep the safe in a room with a solid door/lock or a closet space and not be accessed from out side easily.

Pile crap on top and around it. Ie shelves, beds, dressers, what have you to cut out as much 180 access they have to the safe as possible to not give them more options to pry it open. He said the easiest way was to back off the corners and reach in. Mine is smashed against a wall and a massive dresser mounted to the wall and my safe is bolted in cement. I also have about 50lbs of reloading gear and tools on the top side. So all they got is the door aka the strongest part.

Don't tell people you have guns (I failed that one lol)

And buy a legit safe, not a cheap lock box.

Again none of this will stop them but take them that much longer to get in it and access the safe and have options to bust it open.

That's about it. He didn't give me a full education lesson just those quick tips and things that make it harder for thieves to get in.

If you are only looking for a 24 gun safe that will keep honest people out, then do a search here for the "first alert" safes that Tim at FormatUSA sells. They are the same as the bighorn and winchesters that Costco sells only he gets them on warranty returns and refurbs them.

I picked up a 24 gun safe from him for $375. So you'll get a good savings.
