Anyone paint their P6 front sight for better visibility?

Has anyone else painted their P6 front sight.

I recently painted my three Sig P6's
front sight blades for better visibility
and faster sight acquisition due to my
aging vision in low light conditions
    .
What a improvement over the factory black
sights that came with my P6's.

My first layer was Yellow Enamel, then
Flourescent Pink, and a protective coat
    of Clear enamel.

    Here are my results.

    Final Results.

That is real nice!!! The finishing is also nice. I just bought one of those P-6 from the German police....that gun was abused and I will start thinking on a refinish job.

I did it gold with fingernail polish on my S&W 25-5 6". It is an all black patridge front sight.

I'm still looking for some gold paint or those gold/silver markers to do that to my Kimber. All black sights are no help when shooting at black targets. I have bad eye sight as well.

I can't see out of my left eye hardly. And hit up Staples for some sharpies or look for fingernail polish somewhere.

You can probably find them at a crafts store.
Most stores that carry schoo/officel supplies carry 'Liquid Paper' correction
fluid that you can try-out on your sights with no permanent residue.

If you prefer to test-out before applying enamel paint on your sights.

Just scrape-off with your fingernails and brush-off with gun solvent
and a soft nylon bristle toothbrush.
