It appears to me that they fixed all the issues the ATF had with their product. It isn't a lower that I would put a ton of faith in, but it looks like a decent lower for the price. It could make a fun little dedicated .22 rifle.

The ATF or at least their press conferences specifically stated to the public try didn't like how point and shoot it was. The fact the colors determine where to cut is "doing the work for people".

The actual letter or PC what ever they issued to ban them may have stated color or mid plastic specific but they made it VERY clear, the reason they didn't like it was again clear as day "the fact your showing people where to cut and different colors".


So where OP is getting is once again they are playing with fire by blatantly ignoring their obvious message, but going by the PC to play the but it's legal game and test them once again. It's obvious what they are doing. As before, sure as far as the PC states, it's legal. But don't be shocked when the come a knocking ONCE AGAIN.


It's a direct challenge, once again. They aren't trying to comply with the ATF and stop they making laws. They are challenging them blasting the loop holes in their faces asking for them to refine the ban and keep the chase to outright ban 80's.


This $*** makes me happy I didn't support and buy EP when I ordered my 80's.

Based on the tone of the title and content of your post, you either hate guns or capitalism. If the former, you might be in the wrong forum. If the latter, no one is compelling you to buy their product.

Wrong! Times 1000! I for one think their first 80% lowers should have been legal. But sadly they weren't. But seeing reality and the way things REALLY are. They are playing with fire. Where is their atf approval letter? They can't really be trusted imo since they gave out buyers info during a raid! If they knew they were in hot water they could've at least put degaussers on their drives!

I am glad to see all the buzz in the forums again. We will be soon posting up updates on the prior design and where we are at with the legal battle. As far as the new EP80-2 design, we were given in prior determination the exact specification needing to manufacture a compliant temporary fix to the wrongful prior determination. As far as the specs of the new EP80-2 we have been working on this for over 7 months now. We feel extremely confident that all fitment difficulties we had in the past are rectified. We have a new design, stronger material, new support structure and a rock solid purchase price. Thank you Calguns and its members for your support during our battle with the ATF. Please continue your support as we have many types of home builds available including aluminum if poly is not your thing.

The only "buyer" that was raided last time was me. I applaud EP Lowers for having the balls to step back up to the market.

Unfortunately, it's going to take everyone to stop these laws not just a single company. If it's a single company, they are just hung out to dry and made an example of. Oh, and don't forget that they'll add a few more laws to the hanging.
