    CA DOJ return time

I sent in the form to register the guns that I decided to bring with me from out of state about 2 weeks ago. Does the CA DOJ send out anything to acknowledge that they received and logged all the guns, and if so how long does it usually take to get that confirmation?

Im about to hit my 2 month mark of being a resident and Im concerned that if they lost my form I will get in trouble if I have to resubmit after the 60 day period allotted to new residents.

Yes, they will send you a letter stating your gun(s) are registered.

Did you see if your check cleared? Once your check clears, it usually takes 10 business days for them to mail the letter.

My last mail-in registration took exactly 21 days.

Nite, thanks for the tip. I had totally forgotten about the check. Ill keep an eye to see if it clears. If it hasn't cleared by Friday Ill call the DOJ on monday and see if they can suggest anything.
