Perhaps he, like me, doesn't watch teevee. I never heard of the guy either, and I make my living in this industry.

He has been at the last 3 SHOT Shows representing either Top Shot or Sportsmans Warehouse.

He has been at several SW openings and held clinics

He has been a speaker at the last couple of NRA shows.

Have you heard of Colin Noir either?

Geeze. I remember I got my arse chewed-out for not knowing the character names to some television wizard vampire killer zombies from fog hell. These same individuals didn't have much to say when I told them I at least knew how to balance and maintain a checking account.

I didn't say I had a lot of money in the account but that's another story.

I know Colin, but do you get invitations to his birthday and new year's eve parties? Neither do I, just asking.

I know Chris better than I know Colin. Now I do know Chris Cerino pretty well and we have a lot of common friends and enemies

I've shot IDPA with Chris Cheng and had a chance to talk to him. One of his claims to fame is as a role model for young Asian shooters. He's well spoken and intelligent.

His first love is the shotgun, but we usually overlook that flaw

Yeah, I heard about Colin Noir for the several weeks earlier this year when he was in tremendous vogue here on Calguns and there were a number of threads about him. As an NRA Benefactor Member I also get a lot of noise about him from Fairfax.

This Cheng guy is a teevee personality, which is why people who don't look at the teevee don't know who he is. I have been to every SHOT Show since 2004, but since I don't hang around the Top Shot or Sportsman's Warehouse booths (though SW has been a customer of mine for at least six years), I haven't seen him there.

So now I know who he is.
