I don't own one but I have handled them and I have shot 357 rifles. They are just what they appear to be, a pistol cartridge rifle. Fun to shoot and it has a little more recoil than you would think. Great plinker, fun gun, game rifle.

I don't own one either but I do have a 24" Rossi M92 in .357. I have more fun with this gun then any other gun I own. If I had better eyes I could probably hit a 6" target every time (bench rest) at 150 yards. I've even taken this gun out to 200 yards hitting a 12" gong. I'm a lousy shot, I'd like to see what a good shooter could do with this gun.

I've been told that reloading .357/.38 is a good starter round. One of the easier rounds to reload and buy supplies.

It sure doesn't look like the factory ammo price is going to fall down to where it was 2 years ago.
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.
      Happiness is a warm gun.

        I have both the 77/357 and 77/44.
These are my two favorite rifles for sure.
Fun to shoot all day long, unlike most rifles of bigger calibers.
I have had other rifles like a .223, .308, 30/06, but I don't go plinking with them, just hunting.
With the 77/357 and 77/44, you can hunt and target practice without wearing out your arm and costing you an arm and a leg.
I reload as well, so the cost is minimal for me.
You can also shoot the same ammo in your revolvers.
If your thinking of getting one, I highly recommend them.
Never a problem with either one of them and you can shoot special loads in them too.

I have one. I love it. It is a handy little carbine and I really like the dual caliber. I will shoot 357 through it and my son shoots 38 special for the time being. I haven't had any issues with mine either.

Nice little rifle, though a bit pricey. Bombproof, quality built. Light and handy. Does kick more than expected. Trigger is heavy and not super smooth, but that should be expected and the sear and springs are easily replaced. 4 moa without trying, so it's fun, but not target level, obviously. Peep site available aftermarket.
