So whos going? I'll be there on the 4th bright and early to stack up on ammo.. I know that some of our forum vendors are going to be there and hopfully pick up a Saiga.. So whos going? and when? or why? lol..

I won't be going. For the cost of gas, parking and admission; I could get two bricks of 22lr at Wal-Mart to break in the 10/22 I'll be picking up the Monday after. -
Im going, just cuz I haven't been before, but I guess I'm in for a treat with all the crap and beef jerky that I've read thats sold there. Plus the wife said it's ok to go!
I'm into the C&R stuff(particularly M1 Carbines) is there any chance of finding related stuff there?-ChadComment

Chances are great, but finding a good deal is not. You would be better off going through CMP, that is where I am getting my Garand and maybe a carbine later on.Comment

Unfortunately, I'll be at work on Saturday. I work at the Albertsons right next to the fairgrounds. If someone comes into the store UOC'ing, I'll buy you a sammich.

Ive recently bought 4 carbines from CMP, they have enough of my money- they were auctions...Maybe the off chance I might find something I need...I have almost all the makers of carbines, I do need canvas stuff-slings, stock pouches, oilers, etc.-ChadComment

I went to it two times in the past and I realized that it was not worth the drive from Chula Vista. Can't believe they charge so much for parking and for admission. Did not see any good deals on ammo the both times that I went. I found ammo much cheaper online. Not a huge selection of guns. I'll be going! I need to pick up some .40 s&w bullets, primers, and hopefully this time someone won't buy all the 4-8lb jugs of 231 powder. I will definitely be there early! Parking is a pain, but I guess I'm sorta lucky my dad has a handicap permit to get us parking all the way in the front lot.Comment

I soiled my kittycat t-shirt, lost my micro flashlight, flew my little helicopter into the powerlines, had my stun-gun, throwing knives, ninja sword and blowguns confiscated and I need more beef jerky.

The woman just asked me right now if we were going to the gun show this weekend. I told her I didnt think so, since I didnt want to pay for parking and admission just to look around - and that the "deals" are just not there.
She looked dissapointed and said she wanted to go ...
So, I figured Id give it a second thought. I do like walking around and being engulfed in firearms at any given turn ... but again dont think there are great deals to be had. I think thats why I just stopped goingsigpic
