Vulcan V15CA vs Bushmaster cal approved AR15

Does the cal approved Vulcan look like a proper AR15?, the bushmaster puts me off a bit, but in the pics, the vulcan looks cool. How does it work?, how are their products?. Thanks. DK

My Vulcan lower fit all my M1Sales parts good. The finish is crap, but the rest of the rifle looks Nam style with the pinned in mag (which I like).

Yeah, hold on I'm going to the vault............ Model "V15." It's the same. I had no isues with my magazine, some people claim, but I didn't have a problem.

Damn fine looking gun. Can you use stripper clips with it when loading from the top?

dask, why not just get a regular OLL?

I've never had a problem with my Vulcan. Alot of people complained big time when they first came out that their mags sucked but it wasn't the case with mine.

Vulcan on the left, Fab10 on the right. I've got a detatchable carry handle on it now though...

And here's another pic, the Vulcan obviously the one with the mag hangin out.

And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

The only reason I got the Vuclan receiver was I got it before the "off list" thing happened. I'm usually ahead of people by 6 moths to a year.

http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/delros...c9.jpg&.src=ph $100 rifle (thank god I had a lot of extra Sten parts kits laying around).

Just a receiver. I bought the upper and the rest of the parts from people on AR15.com

I recently bought a V15 CA [ I will definitely post pics shortly]and I must say, after all I've read at this forum about Vulcan I was pleasantly surprised.
First; the rifle was nicely finished and well put together. The mating of the upper and lower receiver is tight, but here's the kicker- the gun shot flawlessly from the first round to its current round count of 450 rnds. Not ONE failure to feed so far, and though I realize that 450 rnds isn't very many rounds shot it does indicate a functioning rifle doing it's job.
I bought this gun [it's only one month old]with the expectation of using it as the basis of a custom project and with the idea in mind of replacing the Lower r'cvr with a Stag. But it's shooting like a champ, small groups on paper growing smaller AND it has a [ hopefully one day legally reversible] mag kit, something which put me off the current FAB-10 and Bushmaster offerings.
In short, this is a great rifle which shoots very well.
Did I just get lucky ? Maybe there's a difference between recently made Vulcan production rifles and the early ones ?

Mines an early production. Works great.

The Bushmaster Carbon 15 TLC has a fully working mag catch. Only thing that is required to give it full " capacity to accept " is a 10 mintue dremel job on the bottom of the magwell.

I believe the FAB-10 requires a few more steps in order to achieve a " capacity to accept " status.
