I wouldn't worry about it when you move, unless you have an C&R FFL.

Big 5 might make you wait 11-12 days, they have been known to do that.

Nope, you're totally fine. Chances are there is no way you'd get a new ID with updated address within your 10(11 at Big-5) days anyway.

Proof of residency is just to show that you do reside in the state when you make the purchase (today). I don't see that it matters if you move after that.

The 4473 DROS form asks for a (current) residence address. That's the address current to when you are filling in the form.

Don't confuse things at Big 5 by mentioning them you are moving, you'll only confuse them, and make things complicated with your DROS. Most of their employees only know enough about guns, gun laws, and DROS forms, just to get by. That's why they insist on the "idiot-proof" 11 day wait.

Also keep in mind that as a rule, Big5 will almost always sell you something that was on sale after the sale is over. Just ask for the manager and tell him you want the last sale price,see what he says..
9 times out of 10 this works.

As others have said don't confuse the sale, No need to volunteer that your moving, It's your current address they need. If you find one in the WTB section you'll save the registration fee.
