Recommend a good AK Bullet button?

I'm working on an AK build, and I've ordered just about everything except for a bullet button and a few others.

I've been considering either the Solar Tactical bullet button, or the Strike Industries ambi bullet button, but I'm sure there are others out there if any of you can recommend something.

I'm not looking for anything overly fancy either, just something inexpensive that'll get the job done.

There is only one other (that I know of) and it's the Raddlock version for the AK.... http://www.riflegear.com/p-268-raddl...-with-key.aspx.

THe Strike Industries version is fairly new to market and have not yet read any reviews on them.

They all pretty much suck. I have the Solar Tactical style lock on mine. I use it in conjunction with this tool...http://www.ebay.com/itm/201183592416

I am sure you'll get a half dozen "go featureless" but of course that is predicated on your owning pre-ban mags, which I bet you don't.

Well I like the look of the "original" AK, so featureless is out of the question. Honestly I have no issue with the bullet button, I got used to it on my AR so it's no big deal.

I also saw the Raddlock one, but I'd rather not have to switch out the mag release tab itself.

There is NO GOOD bullet button.

But just buy the 15 dollar one from amazon. I run it and it only sucks BECAUSE it's a maglock.

being limited to 10 round mags is maybe an even better reason to have quick mag changes.

Yeah, another vote to go featureless. A standard AK with wood furniture is the easiest thing to make featureless. Just slap on a kydex grip wrap and you're set.

But to answer your question, there is no good bullet button. They all blow.

They all suck. I like the way the solar tactical one looks the best. The fyreman recommended above.

I have 3 different "makes" of raddlock for my AKs. A buddy made me a couple in his garage. Did an Amazon search a few weeks ago and found $9 ones. Picked up 3.
They all look like the Solar
4 screws. Easy enough. Don't even have to use all 4 screws.

You dont have to remove anything from the rilfe. The mag release stays put.

These look the best to operate. Only 19.95. I def wanna try one.

                          That does look pretty good.
I may try and mod one of mine to get that effect

I've tried most of them and I really like the Bullet Button JR (if you can find one) but, this one is even nicer and the best design I've seen to date: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...d.php?t=383419
