Ares Armor Suppressor?

Hey all,

Just saw this latest offering from Ares in my Inbox. Video after the jump. Seems like it's one 6" piece of steel pipe from a silencer, which is to say, a ticket to the big house. Just looks like 6 baffle stacks on top of one another, only missing a can to cover it. Is that what Ares is sneakily doing, or is this just a dumb idea? Not to mention the fact that the ATF seems to have a direct line to their customer database... Anybody seen one/agree/have any thoughts, or am I accidentally spreading FUD?

Now that the criticism is out of the way.. I'm curious about the design aspect.

Is this CNC machined from a solid piece? Pieces? Pressed? I'm assuming its machine tooled via CNC. No?
