Zero experience. Advice please. (Flashlight/laser combo)

I have no experience with gun mounted flashlights/lasers. Saw this deal on sport.woot and was wondering if it's worth the $100. They say it's 70% off retail but they tend to exagerate. Anyway, advice is welcome/encouraged.

Good point. I am used to Woot's deals expiring at 10pm PST. Didn't realize this wasn't one of the "One Day One Deal" situations.

Barfska is fine for a toy but I wouldn't mount one on a home defense weapon. Dependability is everything when it comes to self defence tools so save up and buy a Streamlight.

I found out last month how much I appreciated the 500 lumens/laser when actually acquiring a target in a very dark situation in my backyard,,

That being said,,,if your cash strapped,,,buy the light/laser combo for 100 bucks,,,,BUT do realize, as mentioned by others, its not in the same league as a Surefire or equivalent quality wise,,,and the 200 lumens is not 500 and you will need to replace it sooner rather than later,,,,you never know

I would rather have that light/laser combo than nothing at all, when the SHTF


I'm very thankful I made the decision to go big first,,,it very well may have saved a life that night and not cost me mine or my future,,,

Either way,,,,,make the decision that's best for you and yours,,
