A co worker just came back from bullhead city and a gun store their had the new Ruger AR 15 for 569 dollars. a lot of AR for the price. And i see century now sells a 100 % made in America AKs with a machined receiver for under 600 dollars.
unless you are into all the trick stuff these guns are going to be hard to beat at this price.

that is why my AK started life as a Romanian Military AKM. I do not care what east block country in the 70s made my AKM. But i wanted surplus parts not new commercial made parts. not even Russian.

Yeah I'd go parts kit over American. But tapco trigger is nice. And MI has a good rail line.

Do you have first hand personal experience with the American made AK? It can't be any worse than a chicom variant. Hell, Ford trucks are made in Mexico and so are Lincoln welders and they run pretty well these days. . GM is building a plant in China too.

AK should be made outside of America, and AR should be made in America. Buying an AK made in America is like buying an AR made in Serbia. It doesn't seem right.
