    New LCR 9mm on roster?

Does anyone know if Ruger will be rostering this gun? http://www.ruger.com/products/lcr/specSheets/5456.html
A 9mm revolver sounds like a dream to shoot.

If it uses similar moon clips to the S&W 940, I'd pass.

I used to have one- they were way too frail and delicate- a light tweak would jam up the gun.

Now if Charter arms would get their 9mm clip-less revolver done and approved, I'd be quite interested.

If it makes it on the roster, I'll buy one. Also would like one of the Charter Arms Pitbulls, but those are being made in such small numbers, and I don't think there is any intention to submit them for approval.....

With Ruger already committed to allowing their pistols to drop off the roster, I highly doubt they will cough up the bribe money to the state to add it.

The only way it will be on roster is if hell freezes over. Nothing new will be added on unless its "smart" guns or guns with micro stamping.

Sounds like your really late to the game. If what you want something off roster, get it through SSE before the end year or pray that the courts verify that the roster is unconstitutional.

There are tons of info on SSE on Calguns. Read up quick! Cause you now only have 2 months (2 purchases) left

Simple enough to call Ruger and ask.... so I did just that.

They already submitted it for testing a couple of weeks ago when they released it, and 'normally' it can take the 3rd party company 3 months to complete their testing. Then add another month for CA DOJ to update their list for everyone, and it's then finally on sale at your LGS. This was the case for the LCR 22 when it came out a couple of years ago as I followed it closely since I wanted one. That took about 3 months from when it was released until Turners had them for sale.

However, the tech also told me that they recently submitted a new GP100 Match revolver and that was approved and finalized with CA DOJ within 6 weeks, so you never know. Realistically, I'd say there is a good chance to see the LCR 9mm on the CA roster just before the end of the year, or possibly in mid/late January at the earliest. Also, usually once it's approved you'll then see retailers like Turners immediately begin taking pre-orders for it.

                Does microstamping exist?

Revolvers can still be added to the roster.

Ima get one. I noticed the LCRx's are now on the roster. I think I prefer the hammerless version though. The DA trigger is excellent.

I wrote ruger over a year and a half ago about making this. I am thrilled to see them producing it. Once & if it makes it on the roster, I am on it. Also told them it would be sweet in 40. I like my wheel guns! I told them it would be nice for them to offer a 357 bolt based on the ruger American platform. Which is much cheaper than the 357/77 they currently offer. I think they would sell quite nicley... Bring back the PC9 and make the above and I would be 1 broke happy camper!

They just added the new GP100 Match Champion to the roster recently, no reason to assume they wouldn't add this one too. Ruger has given up on the roster for semi autos, but not for revolvers.

See what I posted up higher in this thread.

Already confirmed with Ruger that it's been submitted for testing to be added onto the CA roster.

This 1million%. I rly didnt get why they discontinued the PC9. Little doubtful on a .40 ruger lcr tho. That would take some major retooling and brand new cylinders.
