I spent a couple of weeks in Italy and one afternoon in Rome, while walking from the Piazza de Cinquecento to Piazza Barberini, I found a gun store, the Beretta Shop-in-Shop. Needless to say, I had to go inside and oh my stars, what a place! One wall was nothing but handguns, with Smith & Wesson, Kimber, Colt, SiG - all the popular brands; you name it, they had it, including some beautiful pistols I don't think we'll ever see in America, let alone California.
They (of course) had shotguns, ranging from your work-a-day Remington 870 to some of the finest (and expensive) models offered by Beretta. A third wall was filled with military rifles, among which were ARs, M1As, AKs - the works.
Finally, there were the collectables, including a gorgeous 98k, a Henry, and assorted other rifles of mainly European origin.
