Been in the Ontario one more than a few times. Nice selection, so-so prices, and hit and miss customer service. I'll give the Riverside one a shot when it opens

They have a good selection and good pricing most of the time but I go to O.C. Firearms."That rifle hanging on the wall of the working-class flat or labourer's cottage is the symbol of democracy. It is our job to see that it stays there." George Orwell

It's funny, I see a lot of complaints about their service on a few different sites. I have personally never had an issue. The people working there have always been friendly and talkative. The gunsmith does great work and is knowledgeable and helpful.Comment

Tried to pickup a M&P before it fell off roster but they couldn't get anyone to answer at the warehouse to check stock. Did a PPT at Ontario and went smooth except the pickup. Waited 45 minutes with only 3 people in front of me.
I check their ads weekly and have browsed the stores; their prices are high compared to other shops. My money always gets spent elsewhere.Comment

They are a growing business, I'm sure once they get the Orange County store opened and moving along they should have more buying power and be able to offer better prices, I've purchased several of my weapons there and they have always treated me with the utmost respect, I think if you go somewhere enough times and start to meet the guys who work there you tend to get better service, I've known the owner for a long time, even when his dad owned and ran the store (in Cerritos that is) now He's trying to grow the business. I know most of the guys that work the Cerritos store and have never had a bad experience there. I know that the last time a CG member had an issue at the Ontario store, I advised the manager of the Cerritos store and he called them to make sure the issue was resolved. I call that good CS, I will continue to give them business when they have what I need.

Funny thing is people mentioning Riflegear as having better prices if shopping on price both them and AB can be beat with judicious internet shopping and a reasonably priced transfer dealer.
I buy mostly out of production and used guns so Ammo Bros is not my go to shop but overall I've had no bad experiences. I buy stuff from AB here and there.Comment

Used to go there a lot for ammo, gun cases, cleaning stuff, targets. Now not so much. I find better ammo buys on the net. Never bought a fire arm from AB. Service was always good, questions answered. If I ever get the itch to buy a .308 will shop there and compare. Also will check here in Private Sales. Hope this helps.Comment

Shouldn't the customer service be the same regardless of how many times you've been to a place? They are a growing business, I'm sure once they get the Orange County store opened and moving along they should have more buying power and be able to offer better prices, I've purchased several of my weapons there and they have always treated me with the utmost respect, I think if you go somewhere enough times and start to meet the guys who work there you tend to get better service, I've known the owner for a long time, even when his dad owned and ran the store (in Cerritos that is) now He's trying to grow the business. Brick and mortar stores won't be able to compete with online sellers due to overhead. Thus they have to bank on customer service and selection. Decide for yourself how the place rates in those areas.Comment

As far as brick and mortar stores go, they are one of the largest dedicated gun store, which is very impressive upon initial entry. If I need a fairly common miscellaneous item in a pinch, they MIGHT have it. The prices are quite steep. I generally do my best to avoid gun shops, so if I do go, it's rather mission oriented, so I go straight to the register and ask and purchase. If you take a number, you may be waiting a long time.Comment

Kinda off topic: Their weekly specials ad is usually updated but it's been the same since the 28th (which was the deadline of that ad)
