    PSA stripped lower

He guys looking to clarify mixed information in regards to shipping a stripped lower to a FFL dealer. I'ts coming from out of state and I do not know the Ca laws regarding this and the cost involved I know you can only reg it as a rifle and it must have a lenth of 16" or greater on the upper to be legal. I am also aware of 10 rounds and a magazine tool needed for the mag release. can I add this after I DROS this and pick it up to build a rifle ? thanks in advance

Short answer is yes you can get a stripped lower sent here & DROS'd. The FFL knows how to deal with it. Yes after you take it home you can build a rifle out of it.

It will be DROS'd as "longgun" it does not have to be a functioning rifle to be DROS'd so yes you can add all that stuff later like you said.

Stripped and complete lowers are sold in CA every day.

Question is why did you go with one from out of state? Your FFL's out of state fee's could cost anywhere from half to double the value of the receiver itself.

Glad it worked out, congrats on your first AR.

BTW there is nothing wrong with PSA. I use their uppers. Sometimes their lowers can be found instate. I know Turners has had them before.
