I'm looking for someone that has a drone that takes video that would like to take some video shots at burro canyon Oct 9th (thurs)
Video content will be owned by Forward Assist Training. in exchange for free shooting gear and a free shoot.

Can we shoot the drones? They're not protected yet and I hate drones. Except when I'm allowed to destroy them with some high flying #4 buck. Even BB shot works nicely.

a bunch of helium balloons from the the dollar store tied to a smartphone with a good camera or a GoPro camera if you have one. (don't let go of string....ask me how I know.)

You might want to check with the range first and see if they will even allow that. Seems like it would be a tempting target for some a-holes.

I find that the only "a-holes" are the ones at the controls of a drone, while trying to get into everyone's personal business. A r/c drone is a nuisance, just like a living fly or any other insect buzzing around. They both need to be dealt with accordingly.

If you were serious about quality footage and willing to pay for it, I'd give you the name and number from the top pro in the industry that horrywoo uses for block buster films.

However, for covering 'range fee's'.... I seriously doubt 'Doc' would bother driving down from Ridgecrest.....

I'm all for bartering.... but seriously...... You're asking for a LOT MORE than you're willing to cover.....

The camcorder has the manual, battery, cable and case. I might trade it for range fees and a t shirt.

Maybe you should be more specific because you just gave ChrisC false hopes. I understand you need the kind of drone that flies and can shoot video, not an Obama drone that shoots a gun.

I'm a former computer geek. Turns out... a LOT of computer geeks like guns.

Some computer geeks like radio controlled stuff. I know the president of the RC club at China Lake... you know.... the naval weapons testing and development center????? Turns out, computer geeks, pilots, rocket scientists, engineers and weapons developers also like RC......

I'm against the govt using drones in the US... but private citizens is fine.
