    NON-Lead 30-30

Due to the recent ban on lead ammo for hunting I'm having difficulty finding ammo for this years deer season. Does anyone know of a brand of 30-30 non lead for my marlin. Thank for the help.

    Looks like Corbon makes it.

I thought Federal made some but apparently not, at least I'm not able to find it.

Seem to remember someone making it in copper. Maybe it was just a discussion.

It has nothing to do with condors, only a means of killing off hunting by making obstacles to hunters.

Well, you need to find/buy something that is on the "approved" list:

Yeah, it's not much help, but at least it gives you a starting point when talking with suppliers.

Why? what did you think was in the center of a Wolf bullet? Borscht?

Never assume anything! with this one exception, ALWAYS ASSUME THAT ALL BULLETS CONTAIN LEAD UNLESS YOU KNOW FOR A FACT THEY DON'T! JUST BECAUSE A BULLET WILL ATTRACT A MAGNET DOESN'T MEAN THAT IT IS LEAD FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To be sure your ammo is lead free, either buy ammo labelled "lead free" or load your own with lead free bullets such as any Barnes bullet!

I actually don't think you can use anything except what is on the approved list. Last I checked, there was no 30-30 on the list. So you might have to reload.
www.tenpercentfirearms.com was open from 2005 until 2018. I now own Westside Arms.

for those of you in the LA area, Ammo Bros is making ammo in 30-30 and 7.62x39 with some of the approved non-lead bullets. give them a call to see if they have them in stock.
