Tip-of-the-hat to Big 5

People like to give Big 5 a bad rap, not sure why. Expensive ammo, I guess. Needed a nearby FFL to do a private party transfer on a Sunday. Try to find that in a gun store! Big 5 was there, did the transaction easy as could be, cost $35 total. What's better than that?!?

Some FFLs are open Sundays but refuse to do PPTs due to being "too busy" during the weekends. Needless to say, I went elsewhere and never looked back.

Why is it that some LGSs have the WORST customer service I've ever encountered? One would think that you would want return business. These ppl seem to not give a rats rear about that. There are also some really great places but it really ticks me off when I wander into a bad one...

Pick the one you like and keep going back to it. You know you have a solid FFL with great customer service when they all remember your name... or you buy "too many guns". As if there is such a thing

Small retailers really don't want to deal with the public - they just want to buy products at wholesale and talk with their good friends that come to the store. Sad, but true...

Didnt know Big5 did transfers. Cool. Theyre not the raddest shop around but they're dependable.

They only do transfers on long guns. No pistols.
