Commander or Browning or Other

I have a Colt Series 70 Commander and Ed Brown Kobra Carry. The Ed Brown's Cbob helps with CCW vs the Colt. It is also a much nicer trigger, etc....but that's because it's a semi-custom with the price tag to match.
My advice is to carry what you practice with. Everything else is personal opinion about guns. The best canary gun is worthless if you don't practice.Comment

Had them both, they were fine out of the box. Don't make much difference between 9mm and .45ACP, more like asking if you'd rather have a dry chemical or CO2 fire extinguisher in a pinch. Also had a S&W Model 39 double action 9mm designed to replace the M1911 in 1954 Army trials, pretty good little pistol but mentioned only in passing - I would prefer double action but have extensive experience with the 1911's. Really like to have an exposed hammer in either single or double action compared to a striker fired pistol, but that's my thing.Comment

I have commanders in 9 & 45 also a Colt New Agent in 9.
I don't have a Hi Power because they are a lot thicker in the grip and harder to conceal.
Go with the New Agent or defender. Easy to conceal and with a decent holster they are easy to carry.^^ Said by some lunatic on the internetComment
