I get the majority of my ammo from Freedom munitions. I usually get the 124 grain, but they were out when I ordered last time. I decided to order 115 grain. It has been up and down so far, definitely noticed a difference in consistency versus the 124 grain I normally order. I have been happy with their ammo and will still oder it but sticking to the 124 from them. I have used several thousand rounds in the last few months.

Today I bought a box of Winchester wb in 115 grain it was very good accurate and fairly clean. I also bought a box of HPR Hyperclean 115 grain now that is some good stuff for competition shoots. Very clean and very accurate, expensive but not too bad if you are just using a few hundred rounds for a competition shoot like the GSSF type shoots.

I would not use it for routine range visits just too expensive for that type of shooting.

I only target shoot with hornady at 5 yards. My tactical operator assistant gun caddy likes to load those bullets in my clips also.

I only shoot newly manufactured factory ammo...9mm or .45 APC. I will buy 4-5,000 rounds at a time.

strictly Fiocci and Magtech for "breaking in" new handguns. Then, I mix Shurefire Ammo reloads after 200-250 rounds. Not a single problem. Will also be including Freedommunitions reloads next time I visit the range...

Depends on the caliber and the gun, most especially with .22LR.
With center fire ammo, Winchester USA, Remington UMC, Fiocchi and Magtech all work well, so which one is cheaper/in stock today?

Same with me. Anything "brand new" from a bullet factory, is A-okay by me. I NEVER shoot reloads. Never that is, unless I brewed them myself.

anything that's cheap and reliable.. free is also good, if I could ever find that.

7.62X54r Military Surplus - Still the cheapest (IMHO) to shoot!

I try to shoot Speer Lawman whenever I can get it cheaper....seems to burn cleaner than many, IMO. But, may try some Freedom Munitions new ammo soon....not sure on the reman?

I'm not a serious pistol shooter and my Beretta Px4 Storm 9mm is just something I plink with when weather doesn't permit trap shooting with my shotgun, so for me, price and safety of the ammo is more important. I usually use Freedom Munitions reloads when they're available, or new ones if they run out of reloads.

If you're a very serious pistol shooter and value consistency and accuracy above all, I think you'll have to reload and work out for yourself what is the best load/bullet combination for your particular pistol.

I also buy from Freedom as well as others. I don't see the difference between their reloads and their new products. I've shot both types in 9, 40 and 556/223. The only misfire I've ever had was a Rem 40 SW, never (yet) with a factory reload. No problem with LAX reloads either.
I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong...

Had a couple more issues yesterday with 115 gr Freedom munitions 9mm RN reload. A squib added to the fun. fortunately it was removed with relative ease while at the Firing line in HB yesterday. No damage that I could find, fortunately I did not fire a follow up shot. I heard the pop. and had no recoil. field stripped my G19 sure enough about halfway down the barrel there she sat.

I emailed them about the issues with this last order of ammo. Waiting to hear back.

PMC Bronze for pistol, Freedom Munitions for rifle. Both are inexpensive and seem to perform very well and very close to my HD/PD choices.

Lake City for 5.56 and 7.62 guns is my favorite, or NATO surplus. Reloads for other rifle calibers.

Anything with a NATO cross, or my reloads, for cf pistols.

For .22LR, whatever was cheapest at WalMart before Zero's election in 2008.
