    Midsouth Shooters Supply

I've got to hand it to them.

When most companies were simply not allowing backorders of ammo, Misdsouth did. And, then they actually (finally) honored the order.

I ordered 1000 rounds of 9mm back in March of 2013. Well, I had pretty much figureed I was never going to see that. Well, I just got an email asking if I still wanted it shipped!!! At, the same price I put the order in for!!! Not a super price figuring shipping in, but certainly not bad.

1 1/2 years, BUT THEY DID IT....... Delivered Sept. 2014.

I think that is a more fair policy then the hit and miss luck you have trying to find ammo in-stock.......

Not to burst your balloon, but my SWAG is they had the ammo in stock, at a higher price for most of the last year. 9mm has finally dropped to your backorder price and they're going thru the BO's to sell it to you! As long as they and every other vendor could sell it for more, the BO's sat...

Well maybe. But, maybe you're more cynical then I am...

I haven't been scouring the web for the last year and a half. But, most of the time it has been hard to find it in-stock anywhere at any price. And when it is it usually sells out with no backorder allowed. I got this for 11.62 a box plus shipping for Blazer Brass. After shipping I think this is pretty much what Walmart prices are and good luck getting 1000 rounds.

I figured it must be good Karma, since I had just signed up for a class the same day, before I got the email, that requires 600 rounds.

Yes it took 1.5 years to get a brick of no-lead .17HMR from them but they shipped it when they got it and for the original price to boot, good people.

I'm probably more cynical than just about anybody, experience does that. BUT, I have seen over the last year lots of comments about a vendor selling something that the poster had a BO on. But they won't sell it at the BO price...The Firearms Blog has been doing a weekly ammo price deal the last 6 months. Take a look and see if your ammo was available back than.
