They might not have stopped, ammo seems to come and go there. Just check back in a couple days. Unless the sticker was removed.

Not quite; I just purchased 10 boxes of Remington .223 from the Wal Mart in Orange two days ago. While making the purchase I asked the sporting goods manager if/why WalMart is not selling ammo in certain stores. He told me that in SOME AREAS, demand for ammo has fallen off so much that it is therefore not profitable to stock any more. It isn't some big ole' nasty conspiracy to stop selling ammo in CA; its simple economics and nothing else.

I was told the same thing at the Walmart in HB today. They say there's no way they'll stop selling ammo as they sell so much of it. Probably because there's an indoor range 2 blocks away.
They just don't to sell .380 value packs.

Actually, I'd say it is.

Why else would ammo sales drop, other than the fact that it's being so much of a hassle to even own a firearm that people are becomming discouraged? Either discouraged by that, or all the false anti-gun propaganda.

One of my local Wal-Marts has the .380 value pack at just under $20. YMMV.
