Just Moved To A Free State, First Thing I Did

Just recently moved to a free state. Here's the first thing I did.

I didn't need a lower and have no real plans for it, but it was the first thing I bought (along with standard-capacity mags). Call it a "stick it to CA" thing, Bushmaster isn't even one of my most favorite brands but when I saw they had them on sale and I saw the model name I had to do it.

Those who know me know I'm still absolutely involved in CA gun politics/legal action and I'm still making the phone calls and writing the letters to my old CA representatives.

So I ask, what is the first thing you'd do if/when you moved/move?

we never had the problems in CA till the whiteys took over. We used to hunt, fish, roam, then they showed up and wanted to be civilized.............Ruined it for everyone!

I didn't go hog-wild when we moved to AZ, since we don't have a ton of money. But I did buy two M&P40s at the same time and took them out of the door ten minutes after I paid for them. That felt good.
I've never seen an American flag burned at a gun show.

              Suppressor on a SBR, man!
The liberal see's the glass as half full and tries to take more.
The conservative see's glass as half empty and tries to keep it that way.
I'm with the people on the side just pouring water in the glass trying to get a drink!

First thing I'd do is start some NFA paperwork. Start my tax stamp waiting time.

"Technically" OP's lower isn't an XM15 (all), it's an XM15 E2S. I don't see "(all)" engraved anywhere on that lower
Dear ISIS, Texas is not known for their gun free zones.

I know it's nothing like what Leland Yee is used to dealing with but it's enough to get the Harris/Pelosi/Boxer/Feinstein band wagon's blood boiling.

You mean after I replace all my bullet buttons with normal magazine releases? Start the paperwork for a 14 inch Benelli M4.

                            2. How do you declare residency?
                            3. Did you have to wait like 90 days?

First thing I did when I crossed into AZ with my uhaul was pull over and load up my pistol. Open carried it until I got my CCW permit a few weeks later.

It took me 3 years before I bought my first machine gun.
