    Hey all you Pacificans!

Will City Arms transfer AK's with no pistol grip? I am just wondering if anyone has asked them or tried to. I don't really feel like calling them and getting the third degree if they say no.

I tried to get him to do a transfer on a used XCR and he said the only way he would is if it was stripped down and he just had to do the lower reciever. Not even with a BB or MM.

Maybe as time goes on he might change his policy.

See if the seller would ship the stripped reciever there. You can get the rest via UPS. Some sellers will not oblige.

If your in a hurry try Gun Vault or Irvington arms.

I know they've sold one NDS-3 build with no pistol grip - it was on the wall when I was shopping for a receiver to build my parts kit onto (they wanted $800 for it, but I think it was consignment).

They should sell them, if you want, I'll stop in after work tomorrow and ask...

I've PPT'd AK's w/ no features there. For some reason they are afraid of mag locks and evil features. Your question is ambiguous as to the nature of the transfer though . . . dealer sale or PPT? I don't know if they will want to do a dealer sale on a built AK. Jackson Arms will also do the PPT, but no dealer sale/transfer.

Are you set on dealing with them? There are others in the area, if you want to drive a bit.

Location? And does anyone know if Gun Vault will transfer the AK to me if I order it online? Anyone done it there? I know Bullseye will. Bay Area Gun Vault is only 30 something miles from me, so it will probably be my new shop of choice if they will do the transfers and not hassle me about it.
