Take a look at this thread. Retailers and distributor are discussed starting around post #95 or so.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

Turners had one on their shelf that I checked out a couple weeks ago. Had it on sale as well.

According to the email flyer I just checked it was $799.98 which is $60 off. It was on sale the week of Aug 29 - Sep 04.

I was kind of put off by the lack of a last round hold-open and dust cover, as well as the DI system. Their reasoning of not including a dust cover due to the noise of it spooking game is kind of lame. The cover won't open until after the shot is made and the bolt is cycling, at which time any noise it makes is a moot point.

I much prefer the light weight and AK gas system used on my wife's SU16CA, though I prefer the all metal construction of the SCR.

I might give it another look now that I know the hold-open can be added at will and another upper would take care of the dust cover issue. Hopefully they will start selling just the lowers.

OP, you might want to correct your title as the MCR is a pistol gripped rifle made by the same company, while the picture you posted is of their SCR.

                Done
The dust cover issue at least can be fixed by sticking one of your other uppers on it.

Have to agree that the dust cover is a military spec item that an AR can function just fine without. Its a semi-closed system to begin with, and the cover opens as soon as the bolt cycles. Not essential. Same with the forward assist.

The BHO, on the other hand, is something that is much harder to live without.
